So I randomly decided to do one of these directories, mostly cause I was tired of having a bajillion likes on my account that I use Nicholas as a FC for. I’ll have it separated into three parts: GIF Hunts, Downloadable, and GIF Posts (basically something that isn’t actually labeled as a GIF Hunt, but has multiple gifs on it and aren’t like a gif set).

THE most underrated scene in the entire movie. It was perfect. And do you know how often I see gif sets of it? This is the second one I’ve seen since the movie came out (It’s been over 5 months, now).
So let’s just pause for a moment from reblogging gifs of Tony’s sass, Loki’s sex appeal, or Bruce’s fluffiness and just appreciate this nameless, old, German guy and how, even though he knew he would probably die, he stood up to a tyrant to prove that the human race wouldn’t give up their freedom so easily.

Seeing as that took place in Germany, think that there’s no better place that that scene could have taken place in. Givin’ the time frame, he or his parents could have easily lived through WWII. They bowed to a tyrant once; Never again.
Learn from your elders people- let him be an example.
Seriously, this dude was probably the BRAVEST person in the whole damn movie and he didn’t even have a name. This will always be like… the best scene in any move in this ENTIRE series. Like for me I don’t think it can be topped. Why? Cause it’s so fucking powerful with it’s brutal simplicity that made it so damn easy to overlook. This man represents humanity, it’s will to survive and weather any kind of hardship it faces.
You know this is what I fucking love about this fandom. We are able to enjoy movies at their basic level and then dissect it and study it on deeper more psychological and emotional levels and even THEN still find the movie enjoyable. Like never has there been this kind of behavior in previous generations of fandoms, at least not to this extent, in my opinion. Like when I see a post where some one was able to psychologically pull apart a scene and describe in such detail over the tiniest little things what they feel is going on… it amazes me. Like seriously we’re total derps sometimes, but when we really, REALLY look at something, jesus some of the shit I’ve seen is deep and profound. Rock on guys.
